The 1994 Upper Deck Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card is a quality card that has two versions that are very similar. One is the regular version and one looks much like the regular card but is a parallel set that Upper Deck produced in 1994. The name of the parallel set is the Electric Diamond. This card is much harder to find than the regular Upper Deck Arod Rookie and sells for 2-3 times more than the regular version. You can find the regular version Alex Rodriguez Upper Deck Rookie for about $25.00 in Mint 9 condition and $150.00 in Gem Mint 10 condition. This card is not rare and can be found at reasonable prices due to it lack of scarcity.

The 1994 Flair Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card is one of Alex’s nicest cards. The quality of the photo and thickness of the card make it one of the best Rookie Cards Alex Rodriguez has. The problem with this card is that it was made so durable there are almost just as many Gem Mint 10′s as there are Mint 9′s. Solid card but won’t go up as much as the other rookie cards that Alex has.
1994 Sportflics Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card
This card is not in high demand like much of the other Alex Rodriguez Rookie Cards but there is something very interesting about this card. Sportflics produced an Artist Proof Version of Alex Rodriguez which is one of his rarest cards. You will not see too many of these out there on ebay. If you can pick up the Alex Rodriguez Sportflics Artist Proof for a good price I would definitely consider it.
1994 Score Rookie / Traded Call-Up Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card
This is also a rare Alex Rodriguez rookie card that you could only get by sending in a mail in card. This card is not just rare but very hard to find in good condition due to the fact that they were shipped out by score in the mail and damaged in the shipping process. Last I checked these cards were selling for $900.00 in Mint 9 Condition and $3,000.00 in Gem Mint 10 condition.
1994 Fleer Update Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card
The 1994 Fleer Update Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card was never put in wax packs and can only be found in Fleer Update sets. This card is normally found in good condition and is not as common as some of the other Arod Rookies we have discussed earlier. One of the bad thing about this card that you have to pay attention too before making a purchase would be the centering issues. This card is very often found off center. You can purchase a mint 9 version for about $50-$60 and a Gem Mint 10 for about $200-$250.
1994 SP Die-Cut Red F/X Holoview Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card
This card is in my opinion Alex Rodriguez’s best rookie card ever produced. Why you might ask? Out of all the the Alex Rodriguez Rookie Cards this card was the hardest to hit in packs. There are rumored to be only 300-400 cards ever produced and some of them are still in packs. This card sells for $3,000-$4,000 in Gem Mint 10 condition and I believe this card will surpass the the 1994 SP Alex Rodriguez Rookie Card. Just make sure you are looking at the Red Holoview and not the Blue Holoview which is much more common.
